Mark & Elyssa Krasic
In business since 2001, Krasic’s Cuisine has been Telluride’s premiere caterer. I have over 27 years of food & beverage experience, along with my wife Elyssa’s 16 years of experience in the field, we are confident that we can make your day a special one, whatever the occasion.
I was educated by L’Acadamie de Cuisine in Bethesda, Maryland. My specialties include Mediterranean, French Novelle, Thai and Continental American cuisines. I have held Executive Chef positions in Maryland at Hemmingway’s Restaurant for 2 years, and Kent Manor Inn Restaurant for 5 years. I traveled to southern California and held the Executive Sous Chef position at Twin Palms Restaurant for 2 years, finally landing in the majestic San Juan’s where I took on the Executive Sous Chef position at The Peaks & Golden Door Spa Hotel, in 1995.
Starting Krasic’s Cuisine in 2001, we competed for & were successful in our bid to run the Telluride Conference Center. We have helped with high end fund raisers and events for the Town of Telluride, and many of the local festivals. I have also been the Executive Chef for Wine Fest for 3 years, and Executive Chef for the Telluride Film Festival for 9 years, where we catered for 1800 plus guests twice in a weekend.
As we continue to grow the business, we have recently opened our new location Zest to expand our catering services, to offer more catering focused on weddings, high end catering parties and private chef services.
